90 DEGREE SECONDARY OPTIC LED, TRIPLE THE LIGHT INTENSITY
The primary optic is built into the LED itself. Addition of a secondary optic narrows the light beam and gives more intensity for plant growth. 90 degree optic is proven to be the best angle as it efficiently and evenly covers the entire growing area.
This new design is our proprietary technique and the following data is tested by PPFD tester. By adding a secondary optic, PPFD value is nearly tripled as shown.
PPFD Value | PPFD Value | |
Height(inches) | Primary Optic | Primary+Secondary Optic |
24 | 348 | 830 |
30 | 236 | 644 |
36 | 176 | 503 |
42 | 140 | 400 |
SmartLite series heat dissipation structure airflow diagram
The SmartLite series heat dissipation structure is based on the pipeline design. The airflow discharges from the center to both sides, with no gas entrapped on the four corners. The temperature of the new design is about 15% lower than that of the old one according to the test result.
Traditional heat dissipation structure airflow diagram
Traditional heat dissipation structure is too slow to vent out the gas. The airflow diffuses from the middle to the periphery. When it passes through the four corners of the light board, it becomes stagnant, slowing down the speed of venting heat.
